Green Tea - 1 cup (3 g/300 ml water) of freshly prepared green tea once daily consumed by chemical laboratory workers showed a significant reduction in saliva GPx activity and an increase in total antioxidant capacity (TAC) indicating a reduction in oxidative stress. Green tea is a rational dietary supplement to reduce risk to chemical exposure in chemical laboratory workers.
