Dietary pattern that is low-fat, plant-based diet with few processed foods, includes omega-3 fatty acid (e.g., fish oil) supplements, moderate alcohol consumption, no smoking, keeping serum 25-hydroxyvitamin D levels above 30-40 ng/mL (75-100 nmol/L), and exercise on a regular basis. Rice consumption may be protective.
